Culloden Pine Tree at Berkeley Castle, Gloucestershire

One of two Culloden Pines on the Great Lawn at Berkeley Castle, said to have been brought back as pine cones from the Battle of Culloden by the 4th Earl of Berkeley. The tree is in a sunken circle because the level of the lawn was raised in the 1920's to prevent flooding.
